The thing is, even without the proper keyboard hand dexterity, I always found my way through (even though it is not the most elegant way of playing the game) and I may find it now too, it will probably just take some (a lot of) time anyway! The Castle Roof battle was fast: I got everything in the fist wave but one and when he lowered his shield I made my Minotaur drink 5-6 rage potions, and repeatedly attack him with Bane's special ability. The first ratling boss I simply killed by falling on him on the way back from the crystal and the second one spawned in the House of Needles puzzle, I found his letter there after killing the minions. The only exceptions were the Herder's Den boss, that took me one entire afternoon and that "certain pit" in the Pyramid which was probably my most intense fight in this game. I pretty much cheesed all the battles so far (using doors, like in LoG). It's been a kind of "lucky" play through that made me this far. Thanks man, I will keep on trying but I must admit it may be beyond my skills. Lizardmen endure elements and the archmage set using battlemage is 100% resist to all elements (magic is normally the only thing that hits the back row) +15 strength means you can take extra dexterity at character creation (Accuracy, Evasion, shock resistance) (you'll be a high level by the time you complete heavy armor sets anyway) Barbarian ends up with so much HP I take Lizardmen for double strength healing potions. Those gains are randomised but you can always just make stat potions for whichever one didn't get the most upgrades.īarbarian takes the win for melee classes (better hp/energy gain) as strength per level is extra damage and fire resistance and level 15 alone is 45 more Kg in carry weight which is just as good as -50% armor weight. I like Ratling for rogue as racial food and mutation can add even more strength and dexterity gains which makes the intial -4str loss at the start a non issue. Throwing weapon rogue with lots of crit chance and dexterity just destroys when you stack them with rage potions. Don't think i'd do this without a full time alchemist, just 1 is enough for infinite crafting but I like to take two, more bombs and more stat potions.
